Order placed got confirmation does this mean my order has been successful

I have placed an order on ee for the new iPhone 18 pro max but have had a confirmation email and money come out of my account for upfront cost not sure if this means the credit check is passed and my order has successfully gone through has anyone had this and your order has still been cancelled.

The initial email is just to confirm we have received your order. Please check your junk/spam folder if you've received a follow-up email either confirming your has been processed and completed, or asking you to call in.  
 
If you've not received any follow-up email you'll need to give our Customer Service team a call where a guide in the Digital Sales team can check your order went through successfully. 

If the order couldn't be processed, the team can discuss the reasons why and what additional information we need to manually complete it for you. 

Just so you know, the upfront payment with be pending with the bank. We only take the payment once the order has been processed. If we're unable to process the sale, the bank will automatically refund this back to you.
