Is there an issue with EE deliveries through DPD

Phone was dispatched and dpd sent my pin and said it would be delivered 30th. On the day an operator said there was an issue at the depot and no parcels had left the depot that day and it would be next day. I received a different parcel from the same depot next day but my phone is still saying it’s being held at the depot. 
Anyone else having this issue with dpd?

Christmas and New year delays becase DPD were closed.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

Welcome to the community.

As @Northerner said, the delay could be down to the New Year bank holiday. If you don't hear from DPD tomorrow, it may be worth getting in contact with them directly for an update, or speaking with our Customer Support team
