Iphone 16 pro- 16 pro max pre order thread/that time of the year again

Hello everyone in the ee community it’s that time again of the year placing and tracking the new iPhone 16 and 16 pro max’s orders and especially since a few years with delay issues with ee 😂 and then ringing them up and patiently waiting for that DPD notification I love this time of the year, so everyone I have created this thread and everyone stay posted in this thread don’t follow any other thread keep this one running guys if we keep each other updated then hopefully we get the iPhone this year on time on release day.

yeah seems I’ll have to wait a bit haha. Did EE give you any notice in the meantime or will I only hear from them when it’s dispatched?

nice choice btw, I also went for the pro max desert. Upgrading from a 13 max pro so I’m quite excited

I’m going from a 12 pro max to this, so really can’t wait now. Anticipation has been killing me haha. 

So EE sent me a confirmed order email on the 4th Oct and I haven’t received anything else, but got a confirmation from DPD that they’ve received my order today, which is going to be delivered tomorrow. I’m from Birmingham if that helps. Genuinely think they were overwhelmed with orders this time round as I’ve heard previously people were getting phones in a day when the other phones were released. Don’t think it’s long now…

I ordered my device on 20th September - Upgrade. Nobody at EE seems to know when the phone will be in stock or dispatched. Interested to know anybody who has ordered the Pro Max White on 20th and has received

I ordered the same on 20th Sept... When I called EE I said I do not care about the colour. They did not say the white was a particular issue. I think it depends on who you speak to. Yesterday I was told ' I should' have it by Monday..... I will not hold my breath!

It’s a waiting game unfortunately and EE has been poor with communication with its customers. I ordered the 16 pro max desert on the 27th sept. Got the confirmation email etc but nothing else since. I have range 150 2 separate times having to hold for 40 + mins each time. First time got told it would be dispatched within 48 hours the second that it can take up to 28days. Other people seem to be getting there phones before others even though they ordered later so don’t quiet understand how EE is working it.

It’s depends on what phone you ordered. Mine is a NT 512 which was 21 days from ordering but others are over 28 days. Mind updated to that yesterday but i think its an automatic thing after 7 days

no I haven’t received any dispatch information yet.

i think EE should provide some reassurance, like giving more of a specific timescale as to when the phone will be dispatched.

No, only message I received from them (150) is that my new documents were available to view (they aren’t) 😅
