Iphone 16 pro- 16 pro max pre order thread/that time of the year again

Hello everyone in the ee community it’s that time again of the year placing and tracking the new iPhone 16 and 16 pro max’s orders and especially since a few years with delay issues with ee 😂 and then ringing them up and patiently waiting for that DPD notification I love this time of the year, so everyone I have created this thread and everyone stay posted in this thread don’t follow any other thread keep this one running guys if we keep each other updated then hopefully we get the iPhone this year on time on release day.

apple stocks this year are in a way more better position than last year, so let’s see how ee co operates with this levels they are receiving and how quickly they are processing the orders

Guess we will find out in the coming days if deliveries starting the 27th are correct

Hopefully we will find it out if ee, doesn’t again mess up the orders  and then say later sorry you need to wait another 28 days 😂

Hi all, on the 16th August I ordered an iPhone 16 Pro Max in dessert titanium 256GB. I was told by the sales agent that it would not arrive for atleast 28 days which is not a problem. However, the issue I have is I have not received any emails confirming my oder at all! I rang EE back to see if everything was okay with my order and the agent stated it is fine you'll just have to wait. But...on other threads I have seen people order around the same date as me/after and they've atleast received some sort of communication regarding their Pro Max order. I have no order numbers or confirmation at all 😞 is this OK? 

Considering I paid £300 towards the early upgrade fee, the last thing I want is any issues to arise.If anyone could help with this it would be really appreciated!

Yes all I’ve got is the xko where is you get the other.  ? 

I’ve the xko order but it doesn’t work just gives me a red box that says I’ll get an email from dpd when it ships

I ordered my iPhone 16 Pro Max Desert 256GB on the 18th at 17:47, and so far my order is still on hold, accepted but not processed. According to EE, there is no estimated processing or delivery time, everything depends on stock availability. The estimate is that it shouldn’t take more than a month, but they can’t guarantee anything. I believe this aligns with what everyone has been saying, but to help others, I’ll keep updating here as my order progresses. Best of luck to everyone!

I think sometimes it can be easy to get stuck in your own bubble and not see the bigger picture. These phone are in demand all over the world right now and the stock levels for all retailers can only go so far. Yes there was an expectation for so many you like myself would get it on the day it came out, whether that from being told you would by informed EE advisors, or just thinking because you got an order in early enough you would. Reality is so many people didn't get that and maybe EE do have to answer for why the people who at least ordered on the 13th couldn't get theirs on time. But now its just a case of making sure you have an order, as so many people who thought they had an order didn't actually, and waiting.

It's clear for whatever reason that we will probably never know about, the stock levels for the Pro Max especially was alot lower than the orders placed for launch day delivery. That's disappointing but from looking online i don't think it was just a EE problem.

Hopefully the stock levels will keep getting replenished quickly and all outstanding order will be delivered before the estimation.

I would suggest just to make sure with ee the that you order was gone through on the 13th so there are no disappointments later on from there side saying that your order isn’t showing up on the system and another wait time of 28 days

Welcome to the community,

I believe you mean 16th September, as the launch date was the 13th September. 

They are delivered on a first come first serve basis and it all depends how many before you have ordered and how many Apple send out to networks, we have no way of knowing, you will just have to wait.

Once your order has been processed and ready for dispatch, you should receive notification from EE and also one from DPD the evening before delivery and another one on the day of delivery with a one hour window.
