Hello everyone in the ee community it’s that time again of the year placing and tracking the new iPhone 16 and 16 pro max’s orders and especially since a few years with delay issues with ee 😂 and then ringing them up and patiently waiting for that DPD notification I love this time of the year, so everyone I have created this thread and everyone stay posted in this thread don’t follow any other thread keep this one running guys if we keep each other updated then hopefully we get the iPhone this year on time on release day.

best thing to do is ring them and wait for however long it takes - i have found live chat useless it told me estimated waiti time 5 mins and waited 5 hours on saturday

The best way is to go after them and make sure everything is in place if not then make sure you bring this topic to a higher department then the advisors if they do say your order wasn’t gone through on the pre order day

 I called and no tracking or confirmation. I will have to wait for the DPD text and until then - it is ordered, that is for sure.
Now we wait ( its going to be a long wait )

Hopefully wont be too long, I think this week will being alot of clarity.

As if the people who are being told 27th-1st on the tracker start receiving their orders, then it shows everyone who has a later date that they are on the way.

We must not forget that the people working in the stores and answer our phone calls with questions reg. delivery of our Orders know as much as we do and are not really in the position to help, other than telling us what they have been told and checking if orders went through.

I feel quite sorry for them, as they do get a lot of stick from some people.

Please do be polite when you phone.

I also am waiting for my iPhone Pro Max 256 GB white titanium ordered on the 17.9.24 and phoned if my order went through I was very polite when he told me it can be 28 days waiting time.

They are not responsible for Apple's failure to have enough phones ready for launch day and after.

I completely agree there isn't any point in being rude towards them, like you said they can only give us what they know or are allowed to tell us

And the reality is they probably know less then us.

The guy I spoke to the other day didn't even know there was dates on the tracking now, as they can only see and give the information of what the current wait time of over 28 days is.

The tracking is the most accurate source to go by

Yes, i do wish I had some tracking information but at the moment I haven't received anything which is a little frustrating as I'm waiting day by day for a text message from dpd where as having a rough idea like some people might be better for some people like myself
