Iphone 16 pro- 16 pro max pre order thread/that time of the year again

Hello everyone in the ee community it’s that time again of the year placing and tracking the new iPhone 16 and 16 pro max’s orders and especially since a few years with delay issues with ee 😂 and then ringing them up and patiently waiting for that DPD notification I love this time of the year, so everyone I have created this thread and everyone stay posted in this thread don’t follow any other thread keep this one running guys if we keep each other updated then hopefully we get the iPhone this year on time on release day.

Yeah mine says this but tracker still stuck on order confirmed. But I just checked my iPhone 8 Plus tracking link and it's still order confirmed sooooo....

Hoping for DPD.

I ordered via EE business so don't get anyway of tracking orders. Said I would get a text from dpd the day/night before and one on day of arrival with a code to give the driver. Thats it. So although the sales girl said it would come on launch day I have no way of knowing that and based on last years miserable failure by them I'm not holding out much hope.

Sometimes you do get the dpd notification but it doesn’t update on the tracker so don’t go on the tracker hopefully we will get the dpd notification or today or tomorrow so be prepared and let’s see how it goes this year

Just had the text messages come through saying my new plan is active. Checked on tracking link, and now saying will be delivered on the 20th 👍🏻. Upgraded via the EE app just after 1 on Friday, then had to phone to confirm details later that afternoon.

I think it’s a little poor from EE for not having a better order tracking system. 

My pre order email from last week says expected delivery for launch day, but that’s all I have heard! And that doesn’t feel me with much confidence! Tracking hasn’t updated which is apparently normal for EE. And CS even though I haven’t bothered them, I doubt would have a clue to be honest. It’s very much it might come but you won’t know until the day before it’s expected.

That’s absolutely true they should really fix that tracking system I still remember there were a few people last year who hadn’t received any updates on changing plans or any updates on tracking order but still received the dpd notification one night before the launch day
