Hello everyone in the ee community it’s that time again of the year placing and tracking the new iPhone 16 and 16 pro max’s orders and especially since a few years with delay issues with ee 😂 and then ringing them up and patiently waiting for that DPD notification I love this time of the year, so everyone I have created this thread and everyone stay posted in this thread don’t follow any other thread keep this one running guys if we keep each other updated then hopefully we get the iPhone this year on time on release day.

I have just got off the phone and they have wavered it for me too. Took about 45 minutes though hahaha

Just got off the phone with them, despite being told by 3 different people from EE prior to signing my contract, including the guy who signed me up, Anytime Upgrades were available, I'm now being told they are no longer available.

I'm now being told they objectively do not exist.

I’ve just been told now that there’s a delay when I oredered at 1pm. The guy said I would defo get the phone on launch day. Now the lady said it’s actually going to take 2 weeks after launch till I get the phone

Did they contact you or did you contact them? Which storage, model and colour did you order?

They actually called me back! All ordered, I had a multi device discount as i have a second SIM, so £20 off a month too.

Off the phone to them now for the last time today and again categorically told there’s no Anytime Upgrade,  they’ve said you can still technically upgrade anytime but instead of the fixed upgrade fee you now basically need to pay off your contract.

I contacted them to change the delivery address saying I’m going to be a at a different address on Friday. Can I have it delivered there.

I tried in live chat, agent wouldn’t waive the anytime upgrade fee can only have it free if I wait till 4th October. I wasn’t actually going to upgrade thought I’d give them another chance, guess that’s me seeing the contract out and leaving. Also said contract would go up from my current £70 to £110 a month no chance
