Iphone 16 plus back order

I ordered a new phone for my daughter on Wednesday and was told it would be delivered yesterday but hasn’t arrived. The tracking says it’s still being processed and is on back order. Is there any indication when the iPhone 16plus phones may be back in stock and available please?
