Hi all can anyone help? I have completed a new contact sign up with a number and are yet to receive an order confirmation. The number is 0191 429 0924 and is showing on the trusted numbers on EE website (Inspired) - one of the partners?

could someone confirm that all is okay as I’m a little worried?

@RedJensen10     If you got a call from inspired that is one of EEs trusted sellers and you’ve not been scammed,   But I will say this,  if your not expecting a call then you need to be careful about what you do agree to take on as this could of been a scam.    It’s a cold call so you need to be cautious of this.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

@RedJensen10 : Yes, it's an EE Direct Partner. Beyond that I wouldn't like to say. I've had no truck with them but have seen alleged dubious practices reported here.

Okay thank you. The only thing throwing me was the fact I hadn’t had an email confirmation, this order was done later on in the day so maybe that plays a part. Would this be a usual thing?

I seem to recollect the main thing I see is them phoning EE PAYG users unsolicited knowing all their personal details & mis-selling them a "cheaper" contract which often turns out not to be.

I’m a new customer all together, I have called EE directly and they can see an order showing on an account with my details. I just hope for an email confirmation and order reference now I suppose ?

I’d called EE mainline directly during the week to discuss a potential new contract with them. I didn’t take the deal nor did I schedule any call back from etc… The day after, I received a call from the number above stating he was from EE promotional team and could offer a discounted rate. We went from there, he was a Geordie lad and seemed genuine. I’ve had no money taken or anything like that and like I said above, EE directly have said they can see an order has been placed.

Hi @RedJensen10 I've just checked out partner list that you can find here: Partner numbers list

It looks like one of our partners Inspired are the ones that called you.

I'd recommend giving them a call to confirm that the order has been logged and to get more information.
