Hello there,
I’ve upgraded my current plan along with a new handset (iPhone 15 pro max). Unfortunately I haven’t received any confirmation email. The order was placed on October 4th. Does anybody have an idea of how long does it take for EE to deliver?

I was told within 28 days when I ordered it and would have thought that courtesy would suggest a business would keep customers notified if this changes?

Hi @andrealgill.
This is just a delivery guidance as of now.
If you wish for an update on your order please give our customer care team a call on 150.

Hi Katie,
Just wanted to let you know that today I got different response to the eta of the new handset.
I rang customer service for a different matter and when I thought to ask for the eta of my new phone, I’ve been told that from the day I’ve ordered the eta was 11 working days.
I’ve heard from other people waiting that their eta changes every week. They get different responses every time.
By all means, I understand the huge demand that comes with this device and that EE operates on a first come first served basis, but I think they could do a better job and keep the customers informed.

@andrealgill when you ordered it might of been within 28 days that doesn’t mean it now can not be over 28 days.

Hi @Gilmraw
The timescales are an estimate. The devices are sent out on a first come, first served basis, clearing the oldest orders first.
DPD will be in touch with you when it's ready to be delivered. Thank you for your patience so far.

Hi Christopher,
I agree with Andrea’s comment below. By all means I am not expecting to get a delivery before everyone else but since last year where I had my other upgrade, the whole process shows no professionalism from EE.
I’ve been with you for over 8 years now, spending a substantial amount of money. I guess all we ask for is some sort of professionalism and keeping us in the loop.
I never got a confirmation email for my order (still don’t know my order number) and every time I speak to one of your colleagues, I get a different response.
So what you suggesting is that people walk in to a store, wanting to buy the device they will get served before? This is not right, and definitely not a way to sever loyal customers.

@Gilmraw if you got confirmation or your order your order number is at that top of that confirmation. It starts with XKO/XKN
What sort of update would you like for a device that hasn’t yet been dispatched to you. Customer’s complain when they do receive any update like your order is still on track. Thats not an update as such but that’s all EE can give. How do EE keep you informed of your order ?

Hi Chris!
Maybe you didn’t read my comment above. I haven’t got a confirmation email! When I’ve rang about it, I’ve been told to wait to be contacted by DPD.
As to what update? Is relatively easy! Stick to a date estimate, or let people know with a simple text or email that the estimate has changed.
Not all of us sit at home waiting for a delivery to arrive. I’ve got a business conference in two weeks time and I will be out of the country for 2 weeks. So, it’s good to know!
When you chose to serve people in a first come first served basis and you don’t value loyal customers is not right! Especially when earlier this year EE based on the CPI index raised its prices along with 2 or 5% on top that goes to suppose the EE community!!
