i added an unlimited data add on last month and paid for it this bill, but i wanted to remove it for the next bill in a few weeks. However it’s not coming up as an active add on but still says i have unlimited data, which isn’t on my usual plan. How can i delete this or will I have to pay for it as i’ve already started the next billing month?

You can cancel the data add-on by texting STOP UNLIMITED to 150, does this work for you?
