I recently purchased the Fullworks package which entitles me to Apple TV +. However each time I have tried to set it up, I get to the stage where Apple site wants a phone number to send a verification code. When I enter my mobile number, I receive a notification that "This phone number is not eligible for this promotion. Contact EE to confirm your eligibility"
I have contacted Support several times. Each time I am left with a promise that I will be contacted in a time frame between 10 mins and 24 hours by second-level technical support and then the IT department.
No resolution however.

Can you log into your My EE and select Menu > Plans, then Inclusive Extras & add-ons then select Inclusive Extras and follow the steps to select the pass, does this activate Apple TV+?

Inclusive Extras does not show the option of Apple Tv or Apple Arcade. Just BT Sport.
May I know whether you have successfully solved this problem before or are just trying to be helpful?

I have tried to call 5 times already and spent copious amounts of time on the phone with different solutions which turn out to be "suggestions" which do not work. Extremely frustrating

After a merry dance around the houses for several days with several very helpful people, after raising an official complaint, EE confirmed that the Full Works package which contains Apple TV+ and Arcade does not work without an iPhone!!!
In fact, they took steps in the last 48 hours to change the options on the website to separate the tariffs so that it is explicitly for iPhone or not. They will also train the various staff members about it.

I got a bit further, the add on is available on my package, but they will not send the verification code as it doesn't recognise my android phone number. I should be able to watch the free 6 months on my smart tv with the apple app, but i cant get the verification code sent so i cant use this 'benefit'. I wouldn't have taken a contract out with EE if I had know the apple tv that runs on smart TV cant be activated without having an i phone with EE.
