When I click the link for Apple TV trial, the app says it will "renew" today

I'm just trying to sign up for the free 6 months, but the iOS app says it will renew on 4th Jan (i.e today), and that it's £8.99 "starting today".

So I'm not sure whether to click subscribe, and it'll automatically apply the free months afterwards? I don't want to click subscribe unless I'm sure.

Same thing happening to me - and editing the link as described in the solution no longer seems to be working - I am redirected to an Apple page that says 'page cannot be found'.  So frustrating.

@rackers79 Editing the link to add &a didn’t work for me either but copying the correct one from the post and just inserting the numbers in the space of NNN did the trick!

Thank you so much @nothingmatters and @Chimpass, I was having the same issue and like @Chimpass I didn't have a 'null' either in my link, just an 'M' before the '=' so added the '&a' after the 'M' but before the '=' and it worked. Luckily I have only just signed up to the free 6 months and and found this resolution straight away so haven't lost out on any days.

@nothingmatters I think you should get some form of free gift from EE (that doesn't involve using a link to redeem 😅) as a thanks as it seems this issue has been going on for some time with no resolution from EE yet. Without your resolution, we would be stuck. Maybe you should work for EE 😁 Thanks again, you're a star ⭐

This just takes me to the main Apple TV login. 

I tried the link you suggested and i get the following message.

"The subscription could not be found"

Any ideas?

I would recommend deleting your link - that number is private to you.

Did you try this? tv.apple.com/gb/carrier?p=EE_ATV6M&a=NNNNNNNN

Replacing the Ns with the number at the end of yours?

Glad it works - if you've used the link successfully I don't think it matters about deleting it. I was just concerned someone else might grab it and use it.
