Pre-Order Samsung s25 get Free Buds 3 offer ?

Hi All,

When I Pre-ordered my Samsung S25 Ultra on launch day EE had a promotion running on the website stating if you pre-order any of the s25 range you will receive a free pair of Galaxy Buds3.

Since then the offer has vanished and no information has been passed to me about how I claim my buds which is all looking rather suspicious. 🤔

Luckily I got a screenshot before it disappeared.... 

I was wondering if anyone had also noticed this and had any information?

I was speaking to ee on live chat the other day in regards to an s25 ultra deal and they mentioned post receipt of the device you receive a text message in regards to claiming the buds as mentioned here

@fsfsdf that screen shot says you claim them.  If it is a claim process you don’t claim them from EE it would be Samsung.   It’s also a free gift which means you’re not entitled to receive them.    And it looks like the offer has changed to a watch with a price plan of £5 per month.    And if the gift offer is going to be honoured for the buds you’ll not get any information yet as the device isn’t available yet for you to make any claim.  You’ll need proof of purchase and you don’t have that yet. 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

 Do you mean this that is clearly still on the website as of 26th January. 

The way these things work is when you get the phone you claim through the Samsung website. 

Not sure why you would think it suspicious. 

Don't think that's accurate, they might have terms such as while stocks last, but completely change the offer after purchase or per-order would almost certainly brake consumer law.

Unless it was for a replacement of a similar product etc

Thanks for finding this, I looked for ages online yesterday couldn't find it, hence my suspension.

My main concern is normally Samsung have a page for claiming items like this but it didn't exist, which I thought was odd.

But with the screenshot you have found its slightly different, looks like they will send a voucher code which is fine.

@fsfsdf   At what point did I say your offer  could be changed ?  I said it looks like it’s now been changed and I didn’t say your free gift has now been changed to the current offer.   So my comment is very accurate.

This is probably my eighth samsung pre order through EE for a flagship product. I have only known free gifts and incentives of products to be claimed through Samsung and for the page to go live on launch day. 

Just be patient and wait until you get your phone on 7th February.

Firstly dont panic. I got the free Galaxy Buds 3 deal for preordering my S25+

I have had a deal like this before and it all went swimmingly. I got free galaxy buds 1 when i bought my Flip Z phone. Dont expect the buds with the phone. This wont happen. You dont get the free buds off EE its off Samsung you claim them. I had a leaflet in my phone that was about the claim. You have to claim them within a certain date. Usually about 2 weeks after u get the phone and then it ends after about a month. It doesnt even matter if u dont get a leaflet because its also on the Samsung Members App. I think they give this claim month hoping a lot of people forget. Me being a bit OCD i just set a reminder in my phone for the claim date. I went on samsung members app clicked the link on the advert on the top of the home screen. This takes you to a Samsung webpage to claim them then i think they arrived after about a week. Its not suspicious. It could just be a lot of people signed up so the deal was withdrawn. When u have setup your new phone. Goto the samsung members app then it will give u a claim date. Fill the form on that date. It could be the same day u get your phone or maybe a few weeks later. Dont worry you will get them!

Was still on the app and the website today. Just placed my order for s25u and operator mentioned it also. Did the same with the s23u 2 years ago (pro 2 at the time).

All will be well.
