Ee are offering on their site a trade in offer stating trade in eligible devices receive money off bill of 624 pound bank transfer, to do this they ask to enter last 8 digits of the new phone IMEI in the promo part when trading in.

I have done this but it's saying it's invalid

Does anyone else have this problem

Hello @JadeGrandini199

Just to confirm you have purchased a new contract with EE and you are looking to trade in your Google Pixel 7a?

Are you doing this via the trade in website?

Are you trading this in for cash or money off your EE bill?

What has been advised when you called customer care?

Katie

Yes I'm looking to trade in my Google pixel 7a

I'm trading via the EE recycle website,

I'm trading for cash as it was a new flex pay contract

I was advised to wait 24 hours 48 hours ago

And now I've spoken to someone else who was helpful and seems like they are trying, who has said she will hopefully get it sorted as no one knew about the offer

I've emailed the EE trade in team "likewize"

This is my reply for anyone else having difficulties

Good Afternoon

Thank you for your email

At this time we have been advised that no IMEI numbers have been uploaded

I am afraid EE have not advised us of a timescale for these to be received

However we are in contact with EE trying to move this forward

I do apologise for any inconvenience

If we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

I hope I don't have to go that route but fear I might end up needing to. I already had a major mistake with EE on my upgrade where they were trying to bill me £802 in a few days. I only upgraded from SIM only due to the trade-in offer. I do want to say that everyone I have spoken with has been brilliant and tried to sort out the issues with their order system as it seems you have also experienced. It just shouldn't have to come to that. I feel sorry for the team as they are great, unlike the online order system!
