Netflix activation link doesn't work

Hi,
My wife upgraded to a new phone with one of the smart benefit plan. We chose the Netflix. She received the activation link but when I log in to our Netflix account I can't change it to the EE smart benefit one. We use a different email address to the Netflix than to her EE account. Could this be the issue?

@Leanne_T Not a new contract, I have 3 sims on my account, but I dont have the option of netflix, I have add ons from BT, discounts etc and also a wifi boost add on.

- EE exclusive add on activations in Offers & Add-ons
- Netflix and xbox gaming activation code in Offers & Add-ons
- Unable to change payment details on Netflix but no active contract with EE in Contracts & Billing
- Left EE in Nov - Netflix my extra still active? in Offers & Add-ons
- Inclusive Extra Netflix in Offers & Add-ons
