Google pixel Watch claim refused

shabbychicsam

Hi, I placed an order for the Google pixel 8 on the 16th October because of the offer of a free pixel watch.  I paid the upfront amount on the 16th.

The confirmation email from EE didn't come through until the next morning which is the day after the offer ended.

Google are now refusing my claim. Has anyone had a similar problem?

Thanks

Hi @shabbychicsam,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

I'm sorry to hear there has been an issue with your claim.

Thanks but I've done that and they can't help. Even though I placed the
order on the 16th, EE didn't process it until the 17th and they says they
can't do anything.

Thank you but I've tried that. Even though I placed my order on the evening of the 16th and paid the upfront amount, EE are saying that they didn't process it until the 17th which is frustrating because they offer was showing as available when I ordered it... It's the reason I ordered.

I bought a Google pixel pro 8 on 15th Dec. It had the watch offer on until this time. I find that I cannot claim on https://reward-promos.com/reward/launch2023/en-GB/claim/purchase-details No-one seems to be able to help at EE or at above. Thanks

Hi, I ordered the same date and Google would not provide the watch, EE sent me 5 different receipts.

EE won't let me end the contract as they are in breach of the consumer rights act 2015

I've started court proceedings. How did you get on, happy to post emails from EE. I contacted them at least 6 times about this

Can you answer why EE said to me this has even happened to staff, coming from the head office. Then saying go to the communications ombudsman.
