EE deals on price comparison sites

Have EE removed their deals/tariffs from price comparison sites such as Comparethemarket? I hope not as two years ago I managed to find much better deals for upgrading my phone, that I would never have realised was available. But been looking at deals for the iPhone 14 pro and the cheapest monthly tariffs seem to be around £60 just for 5Gb data. The upfront phone costs are pretty cheap. But I’d rather pay more upfront to lower monthly prices. Also on I think some online phone sites you see to monthly deals for the same price but one would have 5Gb data the other 100gb. I’m a little tempted to get unlimited data but not really prepared to pay £80 a month. I wish I could find something like 100gb for upto £60 a month. Also noticed some packages say maximum speed and others just say 5G. I hadn’t realised they were capped. But a lot of the time I’ve found 4G faster in some areas. Is there are chances cheaper deals may come out in a few months? Because I’m now thinking I may have to switch to Vodafone as their prices seem a lot better. But I’ve been with Orange/Ee for over 20 years as always found very few areas with signal problems and the 4G is fast in most areas.

This is extremely annoying. I want price transparency as a customer.

Last time I renewed my contract I looked at price comparison sites and I still went with EE because I felt paying a bit more was worth it for the improved network.

Now EE are trying to hide what the difference is price is. This is infuriating for me because it makes it much more inconvenient to compare prices. It also just looks sleazy and makes them feel like a cheap network that has to resort to dark patterns to try to desperately hang onto users by trying to pull the wool over their eyes.

I think I'll choose a different network that isn't trying to inconvenience me.

Hello @richsmith

Welcome to the community.

Could you please provide some more information as to what site you are viewing these from?

If you are currently with EE you can log in to your My EE account and view our available deals and offers should you choose to upgrade with us.

Hi @Katie_B

You haven't followed the context of this thread.  This is in reference to EE removing their co-operation from price comparison sites.

It's very inconvenient to not be able to see offers side by side (especially as EE don't allow you to view deals by total contract cost, presumably deliberately).

This is a stupid decision and it inconveniences your customers (annoying enough for me that you've lost me as a customer).

@richsmith   which comparison sites are you not getting information from.

EE and other providers  decision not to deal with Carphone warehouse, which is not a comparison site is a business decision.

None of them have EE. Uswitch. Moneysavingexpert. Smartphonechecker. Comparethemarket has already been mentioned.

Why are you singling out Carphone warehouse?
