Clarity required on BT Sport subscription

According to various third party websites, I can text 'Sport' to 150 and will be able to access BT Sport on my phone free for three months, after which time it will start charging me £10.

However, it also says I can upgrade to 'large screen package' which is £15 a month.

So is there a way to upgrade and pay £5 a month for the large screen package for those first three months?

The ongoing chaotic merger means most links on the BT site going to EE don't work, and many legacy BT sport pages are still live on BT.com, so trying to get the official answer to what is a straightforward question is impossible.

Hi @EAB25

Welcome to the community.

Do you have a Smart Benefit available on your price plan? The options are a bit different depending on what plan you're on and whether you have a smart benefit that you can choose BT Sport on.

Hi Chris

No I don't, and the APP wants £25 a month, hence my reference to better offers available to those who look a bit harder. Your response doesn't really address my question.

Sorry, I misunderstood your question, @EABowen.

I'm not sure if there is an option to upgrade to full access on the free trial. The journey when texting  SPORT to 150 should tell you specifically for the way your account is set up.

If you would like us to take a look at your account and check the options, please give us a call on 150.
