Hi, I have added the TNT Sports option to my account but cannot activate, I successfully receive and then input a pin but after that it repeatedly states ‘We are experiencing technical problems right now, please try again later’, however this has been happening for a number of days.

It’s a shame that this is an issue in the first place and secondly that the solutions appear to come from other users not EE. That is the point of the forum but it seems those who should know and be able to resolve the issues have very little idea.

another one here with the same problem.. tried all the work arounds in here and they havent worked.
its crazy that EE cant figure this out. TNT know about it, and they know its EE's problem (its on EE domain after all).
I emailed EE, they told me i need to call tech support, but that only open certain hours, so i had to wait until the next day.
Called them and they said its TNT problem, and I said it cant be because its EE domain. He convinced me I should let him put me through to TNT. I stupidly said OK, and TNT said its not their fault because its EE domain.
I called again, and told this guy that its not TNT fault, so please dont transfer me to TNT. He said 'wait a moment i just need to put you on hold', 2 seconds later 'hello, TNT helpdesk'.
Called for a third time, made this guy promise not to transfer me to TNT. He promised. Then he said I just need to put you on hold. 'Hello, TNT helpdesk'
EE, your helpdesk are appalling, lazy liars.
To the others in this thread: are you on an EE orginal number? Or have you ever ported it from somewhere? Did you have your TNT sports add-on cancelled by accident last November?

I can understand your frustration at being passed around and not getting a resolution.
When you say you have tried the workarounds, which ones specifically have you tried?

Ive tried every work around in this thread.
but why are there work arounds anyway? Why arent EE just fixing the problem at the back end?

There could be a number of reasons why it is not letting you proceed @moosemangler.
What stage are you getting to when trying to set it up?

Incompetence mate. You pay for a service, have to call up constantly, research online, find your own workarounds and all the while no apologies from EE or any solutions for the next person who comes along. I spent hours on this, time I will not get back, and were it not for the fact it is cheaper to get sports this way I would have cancelled it long ago.
Shocking customer service EE. DO BETTER!

Im at the stage where it sends you a one time PIN, you put it in and it says ‘technical error, try again later’ or something similar.
now ive tried all the workarounds, different mobile OS, different desktop OS, different browsers, connected to wifi, using mobile data, tethered to phones. Nothing works.
but at the end of the day if i get this error when im using an iphone connected to mobile data then its surely a bug at EE. A bug thats been around a while. There shouldnt be 'work arounds', it should be reported to back office and fixed.

i could probably have lived without TNT for rest of my life, but they merged Eurosport.. And I'm not paying £32 a month (most of which will end up in the premier league or in columbia via someones nose) for something I was already getting inlcuded in Sky package.

That’s what made me smile about the whole thing - a mobile company where it turns out I couldn’t activate the feature using my…. mobile phone.
