BT Sport Large Screen cost

Hi,

I changed my sim only plan last week. Had to do it over the phone as your online checkout wasn't working, and after spending an hour trying to get it done I realize today that my large screen BT Sport add on was removed by the person dealing with upgrade. Sending a message today to 150 trying to add it back I'm informed it costs £10! I had been paying £5, and your website says it costs £5.

Has the price increased, or do EE not know what they're doing?

I can't see anywhere in My EE to add it manually, and I'm not phoning up 150 to listen to another half hour of Christmas music only to end up speaking to someone who doesn't know this deal exists (which reading through this forum seems to happen fairly often)

@SpiderPlant55  When you upgrade any add ons are removed as they were added to your old contract.  

Is that BT sport a smart benefit?  If it is then yes it should be £5 to have large screen access. 

You should just be able to text SPORT to 150 to add it.  If it still says £10 you’ll unfortunately have to call customer services. 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi

Did you sort out your issue with BT Sport and large screen? I currently have it on my account and I want to upgrade but I am worried I will have similar issues. When you ask EE they just say they have no idea as it is BT??

I've not got it sorted out yet. Calling 150 is useless as the automated system sends you the same text message each time saying it's £10 per month. The automated self-service is equally hopeless. I'm having to try other menu options to try and speak to somebody and cross my fingers I get somebody who knows that it's meant to be £5 a month. No luck so far!

I am having this problem too. When I text SPORT to 150 it says I have to pay £10 a month even though every where else it says it is £5 a month.
