Apple Music benefit not linking

Hi. Upgraded phone with Apple one+ including free Apple Music. Not received text yet from Apple Music (been 2 days). Set up in EE app and lost all my family sharing accounts. Had to replay Apple Music. Can’t access benefit as Apple says EE haven’t given me the benefit 🙈 Any advice?

Thanks for upgrading with us. 

I would recommend giving us a call. 

You should receive a text with a link to activate your Apple One. 

Did you pay for your Apple Music directly with Apple or through EE?

I pay directly. I’ve activated the benefit through my EE account but that
set up an additional Apple Music single account . When I purchased the
phone I was told the EE benefit could be used for my family music plan.

Apple One Inclusive Extra through EE is an individual subscription. 

Family plans for Apple Music will not be covered through this.

then I’ve been missold . I did check that the discount applied to family music and was told yes as this has now been changed. Feel very cross as whole point of swap I g phone and plan was to reduce costs. I will be lodging a complaint.

The number you will need to call is 150 from an EE mobile OR call 0330 123 1105 from any phone or landline.

Tried ringing but it’s automated and sends you a link to the same online help I’ve already used. Got bill through now and that’s £20 a month higher than I was quoted in EE shop. Fuming, Only popped in to EE to see how I can reduce monthly costs and now I’m paying more and lost family Apple Music. Really unhappy.

When calling please select option 2, this will take you to the automated menu which will then connect you with an agent.
