The message im getting, loud and clear, "Jon", is that EE have used the excuse of an advent calender the prospect of "great prizes" (whatever they are, as no one knows what or how many there were) in order to have us, your customers, change all our contact preferences so you can spam us more easily and frequently.
At a time when people could use a little help, the prospect of a multi multi million pound companys generosity was great.
