I am travelling to Singapore and need an add-on to reduce the price of calls and texts from my mobile (PAYM sim only). I can only find a data add-on which I don't want. Any suggestions? Thanks

There are also monthly Global Roaming Mins & Texts.
As it is not in EU, you cannot use your usual UK allowances there but will need to pay the charges or buy roaming add-ons as set out in https://ee.co.uk/help/help-new/roaming-costs/countries/singapore.
If you are on contract, remember to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave UK to ensure roaming is enabled on your account.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone
ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Actually this is not the solution. If I go to the suggested link of https://ee.co.uk/help/help-new/roaming-costs/countries/singapore (which I had already done) all I get is the offer of a data add-on which I don't want. And the suggestion of Global Roaming Mins & Texts would be fine if I could find it on my account, or anywhere on ee. Is there a code to send to ee for it? The only info I get on the Global minutes circles me round to Community again. I am perplexed.

Hi @Rh55,
If you swipe to the left on the Travel Data Pass, you'll see details of the Global Minutes Add-ons.
You'll also receive a text when you land in Singapore with details of the available Add-ons.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for this. I was looking on a non-swipeable laptop but now, on my mobile I can swipe to the other add-on, which is unfortunately just for texts. It is the call minutes cost that I'm trying to reduce (as I have been able to do in the past). Luckily I am going on to Australia so I can get the roam further add-on there. And it occurs to me - if I did get a global minutes and text add-on for Singapore and then go to Australia with roam further add-on, which add-on would take precedence in Australia? I may be over-thinking this.

Hi @Rh55,
You should see a Global Roaming Minutes Add-on, as well as the texts Add-on.
In Australia, your Roam Abroad Pass would would take precedence.
