ee number 150 not working

Hi. I see several people have had issues with the stated ee number 150 not working. Restarting or switching the phone on and off did not work for me. When I was abroad, seeking assistance, I eventually found a chat feature. The queue for help is pretty long though. It took a few days before I got the assistance I needed. However, I notice that incoming messages from ee now have +49 in front of the number. Could there have been a change of location or ownership? Does +49150 work for other people?

It didn't work when I needed it. But never mind. The current problem seems resolved.

@PuckOfPooksHill   Is that 150 doesn’t work when abroad or when within the UK ?

If abroad is that perhaps because roaming wasn’t enabled on the account so obviously you can not call 150 as it’s still a phone call when abroad and without roaming being enabled will not work.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
Thanks. Roaming was enabled when I was abroad. However, the problem occurs
at home too.

Hi @PuckOfPooksHill

Thanks for coming here.

What happens when you call 150?

Do you have the number saved in your contacts?

Leanne 🙂

Yes I do have the number saved in my contacts. When I try to use it, it
states Not a valid number, though I used it in the past.

Any messages which come from EE now have +49 in front of the 150.
Thanks

It thinks you're still in Germany. Try manually searching the Network Operators for EE.
