So, i have a personal number which i switched on roaming for when we got to France but forgot to switch on roaming for my 2nd number. 2 sims in 1 phone, I've just switched roaming on for the 2nd number but no texts have come through, is this because I've not received any or does ee not save them until your signal is live again..

Thanks for getting back to us @c_doughty1.

If your roaming service was inactive and someone sent you a message during that time, you'll usually receive it later, provided the sender's network or messaging app supports retrying delivery, the message has been sent via SMS and your phone reconnects to the network.

Hi @c_doughty1

Welcome to the community.

How long was that number out of service for? If it was only a day or two, any texts you were sent would usually come through.

Is that number now showing it has signal?

Have you tried to send it a text from the other number to see if that arrives?

Michael

@c_doughty1  How have you switched on roaming ?  This is an EE account option that’s enabled via you texting ROAMING to 150 before you leave the UK or by you calling customer support.  It’s not a on board a device option.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
My number was out for 1 day.

Yes, the signal is now showing.

Yes, i sent a text to from one number to the other and it arrived.
