Set up roaming when abroad

I have a roaming pass add-on. I am in Australia but did not text roaming to 150 before I left. Now in Australia text won't go (because I didn't set up roaming before I left). How can I get roaming working from here?

Resolved! South Africa roaming

I am in South Africa for the next six weeks. I did not text 150 before I came from England. So I have no mobile connection since arriving. How do I enable my phone to roam in South Africa? I am not able to call any of the headlines obviously
