Hello. I am flying to south africa from the UK. I was wondering which data add on to get if i only need data to check on updates on things i have on my itinerary. For example, getting picked up by taxi and driver sharing his location

Yes, your only option there for data is the Travel Data Pass giving 500MB / day for £6.27.

@Lklibingat  are you on contract or PAYG ?

Have a look at THIS and select your tariff type at the top,  you’ll then see what options you do have.

if on contract you’ll need to make sure roaming is enable on your account before you go.    You can text ROAMING to 150 to do this it’ll not cost you anything to have this enabled now.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Yeah so im on contract. When i put south africa it just says i need to buy a data add on. But i guess where i got confused is that the roam Abroad add on almost sounds like its only for EU countries…

@Lklibingat   You do have to purchase a data add on you can not use your tariff allowance while there so the roam further add on will

not help.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Yes so thats my point. Which one do i get? Is my only option to pay by day? Not month
