Would be helpful to have a definitive answer on roaming charges.

what is the likelihood of a contract been terminated/charges added if out of the UK for 3 months or more?

Whilst EE have the right to do this, does it actually happen???

If so, how can a UK number be kept?

@KES10  You’ll not loose the number you are on contract.  You can roam for 2 months and use your allowances but this will depend on where you are going.    You can still use your phone after 2 months you just might face roaming costs but again this depends on where you are going.

your contract will not be terminated if you go over 3 months out of the uk.
