Forgot to message 150 roaming before I left. I bought a roam like home but can’t use it as I can’t call or text or use data whilst in Europe. My data roaming is switched on the device but can’t contact EE to switch on my account.

As you are on contract you need to call CS to get your roaming activated. Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. using a web-calling app over WiFi.
