Upgrade and keeping current number

Hi

I may be being dense, but I can't get my head around whether I need to get a PAC number to upgrade my phone. I'm in the process of upgrading, and I get two options. Either keep my current number and get the PAC number to change it, or I change my number. I've entered the PAC number, and it says its only for transferring suppliers. I want to keep my current number. Do I just click 'No thanks'

A PAC is for transferring your mobile number between network providers.

An upgrade generally refers to changing your phone whilst keeping your existing number - if you purchase your chosen new phone as an upgrade, you will retain your existing number as a matter of course. Usually by simply moving your working SIM from your current phone to your new phone.
