Roaming pay as you go

I travel to Spain soon I've been told two different things about roaming as pay as you go , I will get charged £2 a day to use my pack , the other one my pack should work as normal with no extra cost ,  anyone recently travelled as  pay as you go  which one it is,

No, @steveha, you've no need to do anything special to use your PAYG SIM abroad. You would've already made calls and texts from your pack for it. They don't need to be chargeable.
