Roaming for Malaysia/Setting up from abroad

I am already in Malaysia and need to set up roaming urgently. I have a pay as you go sim. Can I get some assistance please as I need to receive text messages.

PAYG is auto enabled for roaming. You've no need to set up anything. You may receive texts free wherever you are.

Welcome to the community.

Did you use the SIM card in the UK to make a phone call or send a text message? The SIM will only work abroad if you did that.
