What was the reason for your new phone? Does your old SIM still work? A replacement SIM is often supplied with upgrade phones incase there's a problem with your current SIM - but there's no reason to unnecessarily replace a perfectly working SIM.
Are you using apps over mobile data or WiFi? Do you get a mobile network connection using either your old or new SIM?
