I have the same problem. EE has blocked supposedly "for my own safety" ! sms from PosteID in Italy so I can no longer receive identification codes. They have kept me waiting on the phone for hours. When I eventually got through they hung up on me.
This has now been going on since last June and is costing us a fortune.
Any suggestions how we can get EE to unblock these sms that we received perfectly until 12 June 2023?

I receive sms from Italy and can send sms to Italy. I have tried changing my sim from my Android Xiaomi phone into an iPhone, still no success.

Hi Leanne
Could you help me too?
I have a similar problem.
EE has blocked supposedly "for my own safety" ! sms from PosteID in Italy sent through VODAFONE so I can no longer receive identification codes.
150 have kept me waiting on the phone for hours. When I eventually got through to tell them PosteID's network provider was VODAFONE, information they apparently needed to unblock these sms, they hung up on me.
This has now been going on since last June and is costing us a fortune. As I have been travelling, I thought it was maybe because I was abroad. I am now back in the UK for a few days.
I used to received these sms perfectly until 12 June 2023.
I have checked. I still receive other sms from Italy and can send sms to Italy. I have tried changing my sim from my Android Xiaomi phone into an iPhone, still no success. I really now URGENTLY need to get these sms.
Please ask your technical service to deal with this as a priority. I can't waste more time hanging on the phone trying to get through to an operator using 150. I must have been on the phone for over 4 hours since 5th October 2023. My number ends in 8755 and I have been with your company for some 20 years!

It looks like many of your customers have these problems. Surely you should ask us first to identify spams before blocking them. Especially business customers.

Hello @Amplitude ,
Welcome to the community,
No need to repeat your question multiple times, as someone will reply when they are available.
Are you on pay as you go or contract?
If on contract, did you enable roaming on your account?
Have you tried rebooting your phone and made sure that you have signal?

Are you in UK? If so, you are not roaming. This is just an incoming International text.

I suspect this user is receiving international texts both in the UK & roaming, but this remains something they need to persist with CS reporting.
It is they who have access to the individual account and should be progressing any network issues.
