You don't need roaming activated on your a/c for a limited period. It costs you nowt to just leave it active. It's the Roam Abroad Pass that you want for a limited period & that you will pay for pro-rata for the period you have it.

@RocketRon69 : You don't pay for the ability to roam abroad. You just have permission on your a/c to do so or not.
If you are referring to the £10 pm Roam Abroad Pass allowing you to use your UK allowance abroad without paying extra, you pay for it pro-rata from when you buy it until when you stop it.

Hi there @RocketRon69
Thanks for coming here 🙂
Where will you be going? Do you wish to purchase a roaming add-on?
Please make sure the phone is set up to use abroad, to do this log into your My EE account online go to Menu > Account Settings > Parental and Data Controls > Enable Roaming and also Make calls abroad from the UK > They will show as ticked if roaming and calling abroad is activated.
Thanks.
Leanne.
