Poor service from EE

Not having travelled to Europe for sometime I was unaware you had to " register" before travelling.  Having arrived I find no service even though I have a " good sim" plan. Trying to register whilst out here " Portugal" has proved all but impossible.  No web chat, messaging system down and even tried using wi fi calling for ee uk number all impossible.  So ee basically abandon their their customers. Very very poor service.

Hi @Craggybend,

I wouldn't say it's poor service from EE. It's very well documented on the website and app.

Before you left the UK you just had to text ROAMING to 150 - that's all.

You will need to get in touch with customer service who will be able to remotely activate roaming for you.

My point was I wasn't aware of the se ding a txt before leaving UK. Now I
am in Portugal it's all but impossible to contact ee in the UK. The cynic
in me suspects the last thing ee wants is me using data in the eu that they
don't wantnt to pay for.

Are you using a pay as you go or pay monthly plan?

Have you used your SIM abroad before?
