Phone pings constantly when no messages

My phone pings every few minutes when there are no messages. I have taken it to the EE Shop twice but they have not cured it. If something isn't done soon I will throw it on the floor and jump on it

What phone do you have? Have you tried restarting it? It may need resetting, but make sure that you have everything backed up, you could then factory reset and use the back-up to re-install the apps etc.
