Phone not working in Australia

Have been visoting Austrai for 20 years and pbones have always been fine.

Have paid for roam further but not phone access, or intdrnational calls nor any wecome to aus.

Dont have any access to complain

Wifi son in uk but ee would not do anything for him

So i have just tried again phoning via wifi and as before get told i cannot make international calls.
So Katie are you EE , are you in uk?

Were you dialling using your phone's normal dialler app? This would be roaming, albeit using WiFi-calling which is not supported abroad.

Or dialling using the Skype app over a WiFi connection. It is this which is being suggested.

Many of your replies are commenting "please reply to my email address" and putting your email address in free text. I presume this is because you're using your email client to reply, but your email address is being posted on a public internet forum and potentially inviting spammers.

I put the ee uk phone number in whats app and press the phone icon where or what that then did is unknown, except that voice then says international calls not supported on this device.
I press reply and use whatever arises which does appear to be outlook?

Abandoned hope some time ago, just repeat same answer to various questions, which appear to imply its me, but no answer to issue yet or if EE take any notice

It is Skype that has repeatedly been suggested, not WhatsApp.

So added skype, does ee have a skype address or is it i have to get credits to pay to call uk?
