I left my EE phone at home by mistake.

I want to divert the number to a landline line. Can this be done?

@Isaac61  Not without setting it up on your mobile phone first.    The number it’s  diverting to has to be entered on your mobile

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi Chris,

Ah OK but its a shame you can't divert from the EE portal.

I'm sure this happens a lot when people forget their phones.

Best

@Isaac61  But it’s a device based option as the divert is on the device to forward it to a different number.  Your EE account doesn’t receive a call to forward a call.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

The device is not controlling the divert - it is the network.  This can be quickly demonstrated as follows...
With the relevant SIM card in your phone, set up an unconditional call divert to another number.
Then take the SIM out and put it somewhere safe, and call your mobile number - the network continues to divert calls to your chosen number.  This will continue until you put the SIM back in and turn off the call divert.

So in theory it should be possible to set up the divert from the EE portal.  In practice, though, it seems that EE has not put this feature into the portal.

It would be a really useful feature to be able to control call forwarding from the EE portal.  Perhaps the EE product development team might pick up on this (I can't find anywhere in the portal itself to provide feature enhancement requests).
