Phone abroad

Hi 

I set up my roaming this morning came to Spain no signal . Contacted ee said I can't use it abroad on my tariff? Why could they not tell me before I came ? 

I am left with no way to contact family who don't use WiFi.  Its kind of ruined things I offered to pay but declined .

Enabling roaming is free of charge, how did you set it up?

If you're on pay-monthly, it's usually enabled by texting ROAMING to 150 before leaving the UK. Did you do this?

I'm not sure what your query regarding billing add-ons is, but if you're within the EU then the cost is either £2.29/day or £25/month for the Roam Abroad pass.
