Permanently Block numbers

I keep receiving calls from companies and people that I don't want contacting me and im now classing it as harassment as it's everyday and seems to be at least 2/3 calls or more a day. It's becoming frustrating and I've already blocked the numbers but ofc my phone tells me that the number that I've blocked has trying calling me and I'm sick of the fact of seeing that notification coming up and would like to permanently Block the number so they can't try to contact me at all. Any recommendations?

You are describing how blocking calls should work - because you have blocked a number, your phone doesn'r ring and the call goes direct to your voicemail.

The notifications you are getting from your voicemail are how the system has been designed to work. EE can't stop people from calling you.

One option would be to change your number, or to switch your voicemail notifications off. If you consider calls as harassment, then you should report that to the police on 101.
