I will be going to Greece on 26/08 for 2 weeks. Does the Roaming Abroad pass run for 30 days from when it is started or is a monthly item on your bill. My billing period ends on the 29th so I don’t want to have to pay for 2 months

Hi @Azz1951
Welcome to the community. 🙂
The Roam Abroad Pass is a 30 day rolling add-on. So you'll have to cancel it within your My EE app when you get back.
Have a lovely time in Greece. 🙂

It is 30-day rolling but you only pay for it pro-rata for the time you have it.

Hi Chris.
you didn’t answer the question, which is the same one I have:
For example, if I set up roaming pass today on 18th October, does it run for 30 days from now - until 17th November, or is it by calendar month and another one starts again on 1st November?
I am travelling to Canada for two weeks from 25th October so if the first example is correct, one 30 day pass will do the whole trip but not in the second instance
please clarify thanks!

Hi @Gumgum
It is a 30 day rolling add-on and will be activated as soon as you add it. There would be a pro rata charge from when it is added until your bill date, then for a month in advance as normal. If you cancel it during the billing period, you'd be refunded for the remainder of that cycle.

Hi, was looking for the same answer to a question - so to clarify, if I start roaming abroad pass on 1st of the month and then cancel it 14 days later (as I have returned from holiday) I only pay £5?
Also, let’s say my contract/monthly payment runs from 7th of the month, do I get charged £10 up to the 7th, then £10 after the 7th and then get a refunds? Sorry just wanting to check this out as can’t find the correct answer.

The Roam Abroad Pass is now actually £11.40 pm.
- How much you pay: You pay £5.32 in total for 14 days use of it.
- How you pay: In your 1st bill after starting it you pay £2.28 for 6 days (1st - 6th) use in the previous month + £11.40 in advance for the following month = £13.68 for 1st bill. In the next bill you get a rebate of £8.36 for 22 days (15th - 6th of next month) of last month after you cancelled it. TOTAL PAID = £13.68 - £8.36 = £5.32.
