Post moved to a new thread. You are misinformed on PAYG.

Historically, EE PAYG didn't have access to VoLTE, thus preventing use of low-band coverage - that has not been the case since a couple of years now.

On a broad national basis, O2 are consistently ranked as the 4th best performing network for data performance.

@Dungie741 , this is not customer service but a public forum, are you getting slow speed in one area? No need for bad language, by the way.

You can check here, whether there is a problem where you are:

https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile-coverage-checker

If that were the case, there would be plenty more customers complaining, by the way.

And quite frankly, why should we paying for monthly contract not get better speeds and be prioritised when congestion is high? If that is indeed the case, although I doubt it, as customers now have access to 5G. It is up to you to go with 02, although they are not the best, so depends where you are as to which network you get good network.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

Slow speed every where, ive checked the down detector and done all the recommend resets on my phone, ive put a o2 sim in to check the handset and it was fine a signal of -115 dbm is only just giving me a signal

Hi @Dungie741.

EE Pay as you go speeds are capped at 25 Mbps, but this should absolutely be sufficient for browsing and streaming.

Coverage can vary from location to location too, but signal strength isn't necessarily an indicator on the quality of your connection.

It's possible to see one bar but still maintain a good connection, but if you're continuing to struggle it's definitely worth reaching out to our team so we can take a closer look.
