I cant send or receive calls when i call 150 it says the number is unavailable. I haven't been using it as my primary number mainly for 2fa accounts. And i have all my banks linked too it and i cant get access to my email account without it which is my main one i have had for 15+ years. I was receiving texts just last week. Will i be able to get it back or am i completely screwed? It's still showing signal and the 3g logo. why no 24/7 support for issues like this??

@davefree3 No as customer service isn’t 24 hour and don’t know what the issue is yet it could simply be a mast issue and you can check that HERE (click the check status tab). Have you restarted the device? Is this a contract or PAYG sim ? If PAYG when did you make the last chargeable call/text from it ? If it’s a PAYG you might want to read THIS

Hi @davefree3
As per the reply above, how do you pay for this number? I assume as you're not using it as your primary number it's on prepaid so therefore you have to ensure you meet the criteria (making chargeable calls / texts) to stop it going into hibernation.
Also, where are you located? Are you here in the UK or are you perhaps overseas (hence the reason for it no longer being your primary number?)
The good news is, it doesn't look like all is lost. When numbers are completely disconnected, you wouldn't connect to the network anymore so the fact that you are picking up signal is a good sign.
If this is a prepaid number, will the system allow you to apply a top up to your account? This may be all it needs to bring it out of hibernation. If not, get in touch with EE customer care for them to assist.
To be clear though, if it is a case of the numbers gone into hibernation through non-use then this isn't an issue or a fault, it's as per design. All of the UK networks have these rules in place to allow inactive prepaid numbers to be removed from their networks.
Hopefully by the time I type this, you've already resolved the issue 👍
