My iPhone won’t allow on NHS 0800 numbers to be connected to myself, they just ring out in there end.
I have checked my blocked number and even unblock all 0800 that I had block (none of where NHS numbers), but still can’t receive any calls...
it’s not just from one set NHS number is from various numbers from different parts of the country.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi Azlan,
The last step which the top tier of tech support did for me was to reset my network settings. When I was in hospital next time, I asked the nurses to do a test call to my current phone and as if by magic it actually worked … I can only assume that the reset worked. One thing to note is that my local hospital now called me from an 0300 number - im not sure if that changed between my previous failed attempt and the successful one, but it seems to work now!
Have to say, it still leaves me slightly nervous that there may still be calls I’m missing but til I get told otherwise I can only assume it has worked.
cheers,
g

HI @PureTrashTalk and welcome to the community!
Is this happening on all incoming calls to your phone, or just particular ones? Does your phone screen indicate the incoming call?
Have you checked for a Do-Not-Disturb being active?

I don’t receive and notifications on the screen or does it divert to voice mail, I’ve been told it just rings out.
Also no do not disturb or call divert active or numbers blocked in my list of blocked numbers.

Are you able to make a test call from another phone to your phone, and observe (with your mobile phone directly in front of you) what happens?
This will help identify whether your phone has any problems receiving calls.

I have the same problem on my iPhone Max with a Vodafone contract. My wife's iPhone on EE gets calls without a problem.
Vodafone have been no help at all. Hope you have better luck.
