I've recently moved back to the USA but still using my phone as i'm still in contract. Most of my usage is within a WiFi environment but need to make the odd outbound call or text message outside of Wifi etc. At the moment, i'm nit able to make call or sent texts. Not sure if I need an upgrade package with EE or not. Happy for any feedback to help me overcome this. Many thanks in advance.

@Okckid1963 : Did you activate roaming on your EE a/c before you left UK by texting ROAMING to 150?
Often just rebooting the phone is the simple remedy. Otherwise try logging into your MyEE account online & go to Menu / Account Settings / Control Content / Roaming Abroad and also Call Abroad and Premium Rate. They will show as ticked if roaming and calling abroad is activated. If they are not ticked, can you activate these settings?
You might want to buy the What is the Roam Further Pass? for £10 pm to use your UK allowances in the US.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone
