I am 3 months in to travelling Australia and have transferred to payg before leaving the UK. I am using an Australian sim at present and was told that I needed to make calls from my uk sim to keep it active. I believed I had done this enough.
When I attempt calls with UK number it now says number barred.
I am still receiving texts and whatsapps with the number. Can I reactivate it for calls? Really don't want to lose the number for my return to the UK! Please help

When did you last use it for a chargeable action? EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-chargeable use. You then have a further 3 months to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.
You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.

Depends when you last made a chargeable action on the PAYG SIM while still in UK. How long in Oz doesn't tell us that.

Ah then it would be 16th October when I was last in the UK making a chargeable action. I was under the impression I could do that from Australia sorry!
