Internation dial tone when In UK

I’ve had two calls recently where the caller has advised they’ve had an international dial tone when calling me, making it look like I’m abroad.

I’ve been at home on both occasions connected to WiFi calling.

Any idea why this is happening?

People tell me that when they call my phone they are getting a foreign ring tone, even though I am in the UK.

what phones are you all using ?  Mine is an iPhone and I think I’ve stopped this by turning off “Allow calls on other devices” since I turned this off I’ve not had anyone saying “are you abroad”

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Indeed so. It's not consistent though.

Any attempts to reset phones etc are likely to have zero effect either - it's not the terminal device that generates incoming ringtones.
