I’ve had two calls recently where the caller has advised they’ve had an international dial tone when calling me, making it look like I’m abroad.
I’ve been at home on both occasions connected to WiFi calling.
Any idea why this is happening?

Hi @Janw,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
Don't hesitate to get back in touch with technical support if the issue has recurred.
Thanks
James

I’ve had the same issue for the past 2 weeks. My boyfriend is the one who’s mentioned it and he’s on o2.. Glad I’m not the only one!

Yes, it seems to have been happening for at least the last few weeks. It’s obviously not an individual issue as it’s been reported by quite a few people in this thread.
Given that, I’m surprised EE haven’t dealt with this quickly.
I can confirm it’s still happening today.

Happening to me for the past 3 weeks, foreign dial tone when getting called.
Is there still no fix?

Hi James,
I’ve tried contacting technical support with no joy.
When can we expect a fix on this as you can see a lot of customers are affected?

If you go back to EE they'll reset your phone/network settings.
With best regards

This is happening with me as well.
Seems like a problem with EE network at the moment.

Hello @Tommac1991.
The network reset needs to be done by our technical care team.
I have sent you a private message to gather more details.
Thanks,
Katie 🙂
